Winners Announcement and the Programme of the Weather4cast Competition Workshop at Neurips2023

Dear All,

We are happy to announce the winners of the Weather4cast Competition 2023 and the Programme of the Weather4cast Competition Workshop at the Neurips2023 Conference.

Competition winners:

The Core Leaderboard Winner: team ALI_BDIL

The Nowcasting Leaderboard Winner: team ALI_BDIL

The Transfer Learning Leaderboard Winner: team SandD

For anyone interested in receiving a certificate, we will provide an electronic certificate acknowledging their rank on the Weather4cast leaderboards.

Each of the submitted short scientific papers has been reviewed by at least four members of the Scientific Committee. Based on the reviews the following teams are invited to give a presentation at the NeurIPS virtual workshop.

Contributed talks (15 mins + 5 mins questions): team ALI_BDIL, team SandD, team CFG, team rainai, team FIT-CTU

Short talks (5 mins, no questions): team enrflo, team enrflo_t2, Akpun

We are also happy to let you know that all the teams that have asked for free NeurIPS registrations will receive them! (Please be patient it will take some time to activate them)

Please keep in mind that according to the rules that we have received from the NeurIPS organizers, all attendees of the workshop need to be registered to the conference.

Hello SandD,

Unfortunately, we were provided with only a limited number of free registrations by the NeurIPS organizers, and we have already assigned them to other teams that asked for them.

NeurIPS offers a virtual pass registration only that include virtual-only access to the live streams and videos of all the Conference Sessions, Tutorials and Workshops and the ability to interact using Rocket Chat. If you have a student in your group, the cost of the virtual pass is 50 USD.
