This is the main Weather4cast 2023 Competition.
Core Competition I: 8h prediction on 7 previously seen regions over 2 years. All data <0.2 are likely to reflect radar artefacts and are thus set to zero.
Note that we’ve switched from a basic RMSE to a mean CSI score for thresholds 0.2, 1, 5, 10, and 15, to reward correct prediction over the whole gamut of rainfall intensities.
